A set of 12 place value puzzles for students to use when identifying the different representations of two-digit numbers.
Use this teaching resource in the classroom when exploring place value.
Students match up the cards so that each number is represented in words, as a numeral, in expanded form and with MAB.
Use this activity to help students identify a range of two-digit numbers and to understand that a two-digit number is comprised of tens and ones.
Print, cut and laminate each puzzle piece. Place students into small groups and provide each group with a mixed-up set of puzzle pieces. Ask the students to solve each puzzle by matching up each number to its name, expanded form and MAB.
