A set of number cards to use in the classroom when learning to put the numbers 1–20 in numerical order.
Use this teaching resource in the classroom during place-value lessons or as a group task when learning how to identify and sequence numbers from 1 to 20.
Print, cut out, and laminate each number card.
With clothespins, ask the students to attach the numbers to a piece of string in sequential order, creating a clothesline of numbers.
For a challenge, have some of the numbers already attached and ask the students to identify which numbers are missing from the clothesline.
