Spend Some Time Focusing On Problem-Solving Strategies in Math

Developing strong problem-solving skills is necessary for student success, especially in mathematics. Guiding students through difficult math problems requires more than just teaching them to count on their fingers—it involves equipping them with strategies that help them think critically and use their strategies to understand what is being asked of them in a word problem. By spending some time teaching problem-solving strategies, you can help your students build the skills they need to tackle any math problem that comes their way.
