Print this teacher-created inclusive Mother's Day template for students to write about the love they feel for a mother figure in their lives.
A mother’s love is unlike anything else in this world. It is special in every way possible. We celebrate this love on Mother’s Day in an inclusive way. 💖
Celebrating All Types of Families in the Classroom
As the world is changing, the idea of a ‘family’ is changing as well. Many children grow up without the typical idea of a ‘mother’. Some are raised by foster parents; some are raised by grandparents. It’s important to have a safe and inclusive classroom where every student can celebrate a special love in their life on Mother’s Day.
We can see the love of a mother in our aunts, our sisters, and our coaches. As teachers, we show the love of a mother to our students when we care for their injuries or guide them through a problem. This resource allows your students to celebrate a mother’s love in whatever way they like.
