Let’s Learn the Adaptations of the Animals of the Arctic!
Strap on your snowshoes and grab a coat! It’s time to take your students on a trip into the Arctic to discover the unique adaptations that help animals of the Arctic survive the extreme cold. This year, the Teach Starter team has compiled a handy set of printable animal adaptation worksheets to help your students learn more about what animals live in the Arctic and how their special features help them survive.
Cut, Label, & Learn Arctic Animal Features and Their Purposes
This printable worksheet pack is designed to introduce your students to the different body features of various Arctic and Antarctic animals and help them understand more about how those features aid in survival. Each worksheet includes a series of cut-apart statements and a diagram of an animal. Students will need to match the feature described to its corresponding location on the animal; then, they will discover how that feature helps the animal survive. We’ve included the following worksheets in this downloadable resource.
