Identify and Name Angles

One of the most fundamental skills when it comes to working with angles is being able to recognize and name the various types of angles.

Each angle type has its own distinct size or size range. The measurements of these angles are as follows:

  • Acute – 1 degree to 89 degrees
  • Right – exactly 90 degrees
  • Obtuse – 91 degrees to 179 degrees
  • Straight – exactly 180 degrees
  • Reflex – 181 degrees to 359 degrees
  • Revolution – exactly 360 degrees

This simple sorting worksheet has been designed to familiarise your students with these six angle types. Students must cut out the angles provided and paste them into the correct column of the table.

An answer key is included with your download to make grading fast and easy!
