Discover Fun Animals and The Features That Help Them Survive
Dive into the world of animal facts and engaging science lessons with brand-new printable Animal Adaptation activities from Teach Starter! This year, we’re excited to help you and your students learn more about the amazing animals in the animal kingdom and the unique features and characteristics that help them survive.
Learn About a Variety of Animals With Cool Adaptations That Help Them Survive
This printable resource pack will make a massive difference in helping your students understand how many animals have unique adaptations that help them survive in different environments.
To complete each animal adaptation worksheet, students will cut out a series of labels identifying specific adaptations. From there, they will label each body part with its name by gluing along the top edge of the flap, creating a small lift-the-flap insert. They will then glue the description of how the animal uses that feature beneath the tab, creating a fun, flippable way to show how each animal uses it to survive.
This animal adaptations worksheet pack includes a lift-the-flap worksheet for your students to learn more about the following.
- Kangaroo adaptations
- Echidna adaptations
- Sloth adaptations
- Poison dart frog adaptations
- Camel adaptations
- Flamingo adaptations
- Beaver adaptations
- Walrus adaptations
