What do all animals need in order to survive? Animals need air, water, food, and shelter to survive. This mini-book covers each of the necessities in-depth as well as unique adaptations of some animals. Behavioral and structural adaptations such as sharp claws, migration, and webbed feet are some special adaptations students will encounter as they learn about animal survival. Students will have several check-for-understanding opportunities as they work through the 14 mini-pages.
Through this activity, students will review the major needs of animals in order for them to survive. Students will also compare the specific needs of different animal species.
