✍️ Integrate American Sign Language in Your Classroom Decor

Inclusive classrooms are better for everyone. When we open up a classroom to accommodate all learners, it is easier for teachers to adapt their instruction to the student’s unique needs, and the classroom becomes more inclusive and dynamic.

It is important to include students with hearing impairments in the daily alphabet and handwriting lessons so that they can learn letters, sounds, and sign language simultaneously. We’ve put together an alphabet display to help you do just that!

This resource includes 26 letter posters in cursive and print, each with a corresponding American Sign Language finger spelling. This resource is available in four easy-to-print formats.

  • Full-Color Cursive Alphabet Line
  • Black and White Cursive Alphabet Line
  • Full-Color Print Alphabet Line
  • Black and White Print Alphabet Line

Please note: The images shown aim to give a broad understanding of the hand shapes required to communicate letters of the alphabet. Some signs may differ according to area or region. We encourage you to cross-reference using resources within your local community.
