Flip Your Way Through Phonemic Awareness Activities with this Blending Flip Book
This engaging flip book has been created by a teacher to help teachers engage students in practicing their phoneme blending skills in an interactive way.
With a variety of common blends, single phonemes and digraphs you can create these flipbooks to suit the skill level of the students in your class. If they’re only ready for simple cvc words – simply use the single letter cards. If they’re ready to blend digraphs and more 4 phoneme words you have the option to add these phonemes.
How to Use this Phoneme Blending Flip Book
First you need to decide which letters/phonemes you want your students to practice blending.
- Cut out each item along the dotted lines.
- Attach or glue the top rectangle to your notebook as the base and the lined paper under the base.
- Attach the letters one on top of the other to build words.
- Record your words on the lined paper.
