Planning for Your Units of Study? Starting an Animal Research Project?

You’re in the right place! Our Build-a-Quokka Report Writing Template is a fun template that aligns to Common Core writing standards. It would be great to engage your learners since it introduces them to a little-known member of the marsupial family, the Quokka.

Thanks to social media, the quokka has earned a reputation as a terrible mother who throws her baby when approached by a predator, leaving said baby behind to be eaten. But this is entirely untrue!  Use this research template and writing activity to dispel that myth and grow their writing skills in the process. The template includes cut-outs to color, cut out, and assemble a quokka. We’ve also included primary lined writing paper and standard lines for older students.
