Irregular Nouns
This game is a wonderful resource to reinforce the skill of saying the plural form of irregular nouns.
An irregular noun is a noun that becomes plural by using a different word rather than adding an -s or -es to the end of the word. Take for example the word goose. To show more than one, we use the word “geese” rather than gooses. These types of nouns can be tricky for students because they don’t follow any logical rules. Students need quite a bit of practice working with these irregular nouns! This resource is the perfect writing center activity to do just that!
The download comes with a complete set of instructions, a game board, an answer key, and dot cards!
