How Can We Help the Earth? Printable Earth Day Book

Earth Day is a chance to educate your students about the importance of protecting our planet, but why limit yourself to one lesson? Use this printable book with other Earth Day materials and activities to keep your students engaged and excited about the importance of recycling, reusing, and reducing our impact on the environment.

Students color the pictures and complete the sentences. Once each section is complete, students cut along the dotted lines and staple their mini-book together.

Completed sentences should read:

  1. We can pick up trash.
  2. We can use less plastic in our lunch boxes.
  3. We can plant more trees/plants.
  4. We can use less water.
  5. We can recycle plastic, aluminum, and paper.
  6. We can turn off lights to save energy.
  7. We can compost our food/fruit scraps.
