Help support students color adjective use with our colorful word wall display.
Do you find your students struggle to make their writing descriptive enough? Why not use this word wall display to encourage your students not only to increase their vocabulary but also to increase the words they use in their writing?
Often students use basic color categories to describe their ideas. This display will help your students take their writing to the next level by encouraging them to use more descriptive language in their writing instead of the tired, basic color names.
To assemble your color adjective word wall:
- Hang each of the main color splatters. Then, surround each one with the related color adjective drops.
- There are extra sheets with blank paint drops for your class to add their own color adjectives.
