Practice your students' listening and speaking skills with a fun coloring activity.
This barrier game is played in pairs, with the players separated by a barrier. There is a speaker and a listener. Prior to beginning the game, the speaker colors their sheet. During the game, the speaker gives precise instructions to the listener who must listen carefully and color accordingly.
You might also try having the speaker write a procedural text first, explaining how to color the sheet. Then, they can read their procedural text to the listener.
The goal is for the listener to produce work which is close to being identical to that of the speaker.
The coloring pages include:
- three cute teddies
- five crazy monsters
- three deliciously-different cupcakes
- three contrasting fish
