Compound Words for Big Kids!
As teachers, we know that sometimes kids forget really important skills when they’re out of school for the summer. Very often, we spend a bit of time at the beginning of the year reviewing and reteaching those basic skills that students have forgotten. However, teachers in upper grades often find this difficult due to the fact that the majority of printable resources for a specific concept look like they’re for little kids. No fifth grader wants a worksheet that features cute little ladybugs that they have to color; they want something that matches their maturity level. We’re here to fix that problem with our printable worksheets for big kids…starting with compound words.
