Make a Compound Word Fortune Teller!
Fortune teller, cootie catcher, or whatever you like to call it, this printable is the perfect tool for engaging your students and getting them to practice building and writing compound words in the classroom. Using this template, students will color, fold, and use a Compound Word fortune teller template to create an engaging ‘non-worksheet’ way to practice building words. Once folded, students can work with a partner to manipulate the fortune teller to show them the ‘future’ words they need to build and record on their recording sheet.
