Analyze length conversions to identify and correct mistakes with this error analysis worksheet.
📏Looking for Measurement Conversion Worksheets?
If your students are learning how to convert between units properly, error analysis can be a helpful way to ensure your students know how to change one unit to the next correctly. Regardless of whether students are converting between customary or metric units, they need to remember quite a few length measurements.
Teach Starter has created an error analysis worksheet to help your students strengthen their measurement conversion skills with length. With this math worksheet, students will analyze length conversions and identify errors. Errors may include:
- Multiplying incorrectly
- Dividing by the wrong number
- Using the wrong conversion value
An answer key is included with your download to make grading fast and easy!
Tips for Differentiation + Scaffolding
If students are looking for a bit of a challenge, have them write their own word problems on the back of the worksheet where conversion is required.
For students who need additional support, allow access to a multiplication chart. Additionally, invite students to reference posters or anchor charts that help guide students through the process of proportionate solving.
