Something to Roar About! Dinosaur Writing Prompts for Second Grade and Up
Is it Dinovember yet? Get ready to travel back in time to the land of the dinosaurs, and take your students along for the ride. We’ve put together the perfect blend of reading, writing, and reptiles to inspire your young writers to grow!
This resource download contains two primary components. First of all, we’ve put together an awesome illustrated dinosaur vocabulary word wall display. There are 24 vocabulary cards with bright images to help inspire your students to use academic vocabulary. There are also nine different writing prompt pages. The writing prompts in this Dinosaur writing activity are designed at different levels for your differently-abled students. Versions included are
- Draw and Write Prompts including a word bank and wide-ruled lines
- Image-Inspired Prompts including a writing prompt and wide-ruled lines
- Standard Essay format with wide-ruled lines.
