Pocket Charts for the Classroom

This resource has been created specifically for use in a pocket chart. A pocket chart is a versatile and practical tool that educators use to enhance learning. They consist of a durable fabric and plastic material with rows and columns of pockets where cards or other visual aids can be inserted. One effective way to use pocket charts is to complete a sorting activity with the whole class or in small group settings.

Don’t have a pocket chart? That’s okay – this diphthong sorting activity works just as well on any flat surface, such as a large desk or the ground!
