How to Play This Pre-Primer Sight Word Game
Once you have downloaded and prepared the resource, playing this Pre-Primer sight word Bingo game with your class couldn’t be easier! Here’s a simple rundown of how to play:
- Distribute a Bingo board to each student or small group.
- Shuffle the word cards and place them in a stack.
- Draw a word card and read it aloud.
- Have students locate the matching word on their Bingo board and cover it.
- Continue reading word cards until a student completes a row, column or full board.
- The first student to achieve Bingo wins!
Whether used as a whole-class literacy warm-up, an independent center activity or a small-group intervention tool, this resource is a valuable addition to any early years classroom!
