Looking for Fun Division Practice Worksheets?
You’re in the right place! We’ve put together an exciting new tarsia puzzle for your students to use to practice dividing two-digit by one-digit numbers
What is a Tarsia Puzzle?
Have you heard of Tarsia puzzles? They’re a fun and interactive way to help students understand mathematical concepts! Tarsia puzzles are jigsaw puzzles, but instead of just creating a picture, you put together pieces that contain equations or other mathematical representations to form a larger figure or design. These puzzles reinforce understanding and promote problem-solving skills, making math class more fun!.
Create ‘Well-Rounded’ Math Centers with Tarsia Puzzles
It’s almost Dot Day! You’ve got to drop in some dot-based fun in all subject areas! This tarsia puzzle features 16 individual pieces, each with multiple 2-digit divided by 1-digit division problems. Students will color and cut apart the pieces, then solve the puzzle by matching equations and answers to form a circle.
Your students will love this new practice activity, or should we say they’ll “have a ball” with it?
