This set of five editing worksheets for 4th grade has been designed to give your students practice in a variety of key editing skills.
Each editing worksheet contains the following activities:
- Incomplete Sentences – Students correct the incomplete sentences in the passage by fixing any punctuation errors and adding any missing punctuation.
- Spelling and Punctuation – Students correct the spelling errors and punctuation errors within the passage.
- Adjectives and Verbs – Students identify the adjectives and verbs from the selection of words provided.
It is recommended that students use a colored pen or highlighter to indicate the changes needed in the passages. Alternatively, they could rewrite the entire passage correctly in their notebooks.
