End-of-Year Activities – Soar into Summer with STEM Projects

Ready, set, build! Show students how much fun it can be to create their own board games. This no-prep resource encourages students to think outside the box while also presenting them with new challenges.

Students will get in touch with their creative side as they use their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills to create game pieces and questions, then build their game boards with all of the components of a traditional board game.

Your students will love creating an original board game, and you’ll love the no-prep nature of this product. This project aims to have students

  • write instructions for playing a game
  • make a content-based question for each player to answer on their turn
  • create custom game pieces (such as dice or cards) that correspond with their game.
