This set of 5 worksheets has been designed to help children practice and enhance their dictionary skills. The scavenger hunt formate of the worksheets makes learning fun and engaging for students. Students will need a dictionary to complete these worksheets. They will be asked to locate specific words, guide words, definitions, and syllabication in their dictionaries.
This resource can also be cut apart into separate questions and used as a filler activity at the end of class. Simply place a question underneath your document camera and have students compete to be the first to find the answer.

Turn this teaching resource into a sustainable activity by printing on cardboard and slipping it into a write-and-wipe sleeve. Students can record their answers with a whiteboard marker, then erase and reuse.
Additionally, project the worksheet onto a screen and work through it as a class by having students record their answers in their notebooks.
