A fun matching activity using wooden clothespins to develop fine motor skills.

Use this resource when practicing fine motor skills with your students.

Print out the templates on cardstock and cut them out. Attach the animals’ legs and tails to wooden clothespins. Place all of the legs and tails in a container.

Students choose an animal and find the matching legs and tails in the container. Then, using their pointer finger and thumb, the student opens the clothespins and attaches them to the animal where they belong. This makes a great center activity for your students!

The animals included in the download are:

  • zebra
  • cheetah
  • monkey
  • pig.

A set of instructions and tips is included in the download.

Use the drop-down menu to choose between the color or black and white version.
