Craft a classroom full of firefighter hats with a printable community helper hats template.
Make a Firefighter Hat for Fire Prevention Week
Fire Prevention Week is approaching, and teachers across the nation are prepping to teach students the ins and outs of fire safety. We’re here to help you teach these concepts and introduce your students to the heroes who risk their lives every day to protect the community…Firefighters!
This firefighter hat craft template is designed for elementary students and would make an adorable addition to your Fire Prevention Week lessons and celebrations. To use, students will color and cut out the community helper craft. Next, staple a strip of red construction paper or a sentence strip to each side. Finally, wrap the headband around the student’s forehead and cut the strips to length, and staple the ends together.
This activity would also make an awesome addition to your Fire Prevention Week or Community Helpers Unit!
