Using Our Improper Fractions and Mixed Numbers Worksheet Set

This improper fractions and mixed numbers worksheet set is easy to download, print, and use. Here is what your students will need: 

Materials: 

  • Gorilla or spaceship color-by-number worksheet
  • Matching problem set 
  • Pencil
  • Crayons, colored pencils, or markers 

Instructions: 

  1. Download and print the resource, choosing which picture you would like your students to complete.
  2. Give students the materials they will need, as indicated above. 
  3. Students solve all the problems on the problems set worksheet. 
  4. Students should check their answers using the keys. 
  5. Students will then look at the picture worksheet and color the corresponding spaces the colors indicated on the problem set worksheet. 
  6. Any blank spaces on the picture can be filled with whatever color the student chooses. 

Students can then complete the other worksheet pair —our Fractions Greater Than 1 Worksheet Pack lets them practice converting both ways!
