Reflect on how a good friend acts with this charming friendship writing exercise.

Use this delightful flower template as part of your social-emotional health lesson to talk about the characteristics of a good friend.

Students cut out the flower and write or draw different ‘good friend’ characteristics on each flower petal. Then, they color their flower and fold down each of the petals.

When finished, they have a “blooming” friendship flower to help them understand how a good friend acts.
