Goods and Services-Projects in Primary

We’ve all been in this teacher’s shoes. Administration comes in for an observation and recommends providing your students with more engaging, project-based learning opportunities. Those are tough to come by, especially in early grades, so let Teach Starter do the heavy lifting for you!

Are you looking for a fun, project-based learning opportunity to wrap up your Goods and Services Unit? This Economics activity is designed for late-first and second-grade students. With this activity, students will brainstorm goods or services that they could provide to their community, and create an advertisement to “sell” their product. The download includes instructions, a rubric, a brainstorming template, and an advertisement template.

Through this resource, students will demonstrate the ability to identify goods and services as they are used in the community.
