A worksheet that explores different types of weather and subsequent observable changes.
Use this free educational worksheet when exploring different types of weather and how people make changes as a result.
Students choose a type of weather, cut out the corresponding vocabulary and illustrations, and then dress the person according to the conditions by cutting out the appropriate clothing. They then glue the cut-outs onto the page to create a scene that depicts a suitably dressed person in a particular type of weather.
Students then compare their picture with someone else who chose a different type of weather and try to find similarities and differences. Try having them record the similarities and differences they found using our FREE Venn Diagram Graphic Organizer.
This teaching resource would make an excellent addition to a lesson or unit on Earth and Space in an elementary classroom.
