In this task, students will read and cut out informational paragraphs, then glue the paragraphs into the correct section of the scaffolded table provided. The table divides the informational text into paragraphs using the following headings:

• Title
• Introduction
• Description – Igneous Rocks
• Description – Sedimentary Rocks
• Description – Metamorphic Rocks
• Conclusion

By completing this sequencing activity, students will learn the key structural components of information texts and how rocks are formed by using a real-text example.
