A match-up activity to consolidate the students' knowledge of how human rights affect their own lives.
This teaching resource can be used in the classroom when learning about human rights.
International Human Rights Day is on 10 December and is a celebration and commemoration of the development of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Use this match-up activity to help the students understand how different articles in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights relate to everyday life events.
Give the students, either in teams or individually, a copy of the match-up cards and have them cut out the individual scenarios and articles to match together.
Answer sheets have been provided so the students can check their work.
