Give Your “I Am Thankful For” Activities a Burst of Color
All it takes is a single click to download these handy Thanksgiving activity sheets. This resource includes a set of three “I am thankful for” worksheets designed for your students to use to show have what they’re thankful for this year.
Students will first write the things they are thankful for in the individual sections of the sunburst pattern using a black pen or marker. Then they will use bright, fall colors to color in the different sections, making a beautiful sunburst pattern. From there, you can try one of these ideas!
- Mount their Thanksgiving worksheet on a sheet of 9×12 construction paper and display them in the hall for a bright Thanksgiving bulletin board.
- Mount their “I Am Thankful” worksheets to a sheet of thick cardstock, then have students cut apart the pieces. Now they have a fun “I Am Thankful For” Puzzle to share with their families and friends.
- Fold a 12×18 sheet of construction paper in half like a book and mount their Thanksgiving worksheets to the front cover. Insert a stack of white paper, staple it along the edge to bind, and have your students draw and write about one thing they’re thankful for on each page. Now you have your very own Thanksgiving Big Books!
