I Need a Break Cards! A Fantastic Emotional Regulation Tool
Do you have students who struggle with regulating their emotions? Sometimes, little kids bring big emotions to school, and it’s difficult for them to manage them when things get awry. This year, we’re excited to help you provide your students with options and tools to help them regulate their feelings and return to business as usual.
As teachers, we know that sometimes, you just need a break! Just like us, sometimes our students need the same! This year, you can help your students self-regulate their emotions with printable ‘I Need A Break’ Tickets. You can use them as incentives or as a SEL intervention for students needing them. All you have to do is give your students a break ticket and send them off for a short, 5-minute break to a quiet area in the classroom, a teacher down the hall, or a quick visit to the library. It’s entirely up to you! This printable pack of I Need a Break cards includes five templates for break tickets.
