3rd Grade Fractions Worksheet

What fraction concepts do students need to know in 3rd grade? Third-grade students typically begin to learn about fractions by understanding that they represent parts of a whole. They may learn to identify and name fractions, such as halves, thirds, and fourths, and to recognize them in everyday objects and situations. Students work with different shapes, sets, and number lines to represent fractions in different ways.

With this worksheet, students will aim to determine the fraction of a shaded figure, the fraction of a set, and determine a fraction on a number line.

An answer key is included with your download to make grading fast and easy!
