Teach your students about the Fourth of July and inspire them to read and write with an illustrated Fourth of July Word Wall.
Let’s Learn Independence Day Vocabulary!
Every Fourth of July, we celebrate the independence of the United States, marking the day when the Constitution was signed and we became an independent nation. This day is filled with commemorations of our founding fathers, talk of revolutionary heroes, and the enduring spirit of freedom and democracy.
During this national holiday, we reflect on the important moments, brave leaders, and major events that shaped our country’s history. It’s a time to celebrate our liberties, achievements, and the United States of America!
This year, we invite you to teach your students all about this National holiday using a brand-new illustrated word wall! Included in this word wall are 42 vocabulary words many students will immediately recognize, as well as a few meant to stretch your students’ language skills:
red | white | blue | patriotism | celebrate | stars |
stripes | America | independence | parade | fireworks | July |
liberty | flag | united | nation | honor | And more! |
