The presentation describes brainstorming and writers do it. It also explains the brainstorming techniques of drawing a picture, making a list, and making a mind map. The PowerPoint also offers opportunities for students to practice each technique, making it easy to see which students need extra support while keeping your students engaged throughout the presentation. It also ends with a link to a set of Brainstorming Task Cards, allowing your students to put their learning into action!
