Labor Day Activities for Primary Grades

Were you looking for activities to help you teach the U.S. holiday known as Labor Day? We’ve got you covered with an easy-to-print and easy-to-use vocabulary and writing center.

This set of vocabulary cards is designed to help primary-level students make sense of the history and reasoning behind the celebration of the Labor Day holiday. Each of the sixteen vocabulary cards contains a large-print, easy-to-read word and an image to aid in retention.

Through this activity, students will show increased vocabulary and understanding of why Labor Day celebrations occur in the United States.
