Information includes:

  • Adult fly lays eggs.
  • Larvae hatch from the egg.
  • Larvae feed and live on decaying animal and plant matter.
  • Larvae crawl to a dry, cool place and transform into pupae.
  • Adult fly emerges from the pupae.
