Reflect on the school year with this end-of-the-year writing activity.
Looking Back on My Year – End of the Year Activity
Looking Back on My Year is a writing activity where students can reflect on their school year. When the year is almost over, it is a great time to reflect back and then look forward to next year! Students can write or draw their memories inside of the glasses provided. Choose between blank, lined, or primary lined glasses. Students will then color the face and add hair.
Do Your Students Have Writer’s Block?
Use some of the questions to get your students thinking about what to write in their sunglasses.
- What were your favorite parts of this school year?
- What was your favorite book you read this year? Why?
- Did you go on a fun field trip this year? Why did you enjoy it?
- What will you miss most about your classroom?
