Teach Your Students to Manage Their Anger
Anger is a feeling we experience when we think that something is wrong, hard, or unfair.
If not managed in an appropriate way, anger can cause our students to behave inappropriately. This can lead to:
- Physical violence
- Verbal abuse
- Disrespectful behavior
It is vital that our children understand what anger is. They need to learn how to recognize how anger affects them mentally, physically, and behaviorally. It is our job to help our students manage angry feelings in an appropriate way!
Our Anger Management Worksheet for Kids Is Here!
This worksheet has been designed to assist students in implementing a “calm down” plan when they are feeling angry about something. It requires them to:
- Identify a situation that is making them angry
- Consider how this anger is affecting their thoughts, bodies and behaviors
- Choose some appropriate strategies from the list provided
- Name another strategy of their own choice
