Working Through Stress Effectively for Kids
This interactive activity contains seven separate open-ended tasks where students reflect on their own experiences of stress to form their answers. Use this activity as a summarising activity or assessment piece at the end of your work on managing stress.
Through this activity, students will show their ability to express their knowledge and understanding of:
- Positive and negative effects of stress
- Coping strategies for home and school
- Helpful and unhelpful coping strategies
- Ways in which they prefer to cope with their stress
- Facts about stress
- Ways they can tap into their senses to cope with stress
- Using grounding techniques using their senses
