Describing Materials and Their Uses Beanbag Toss Game
This activity brings learning to life by combining active movement with vocabulary practice. Students listen as descriptive words are read aloud—like “smooth,” “flexible,” or “shiny”—and then toss a beanbag onto a photograph of an object that matches the description. Afterwards, they take it a step further by identifying what material the object is made from, reinforcing their understanding of different materials and their properties.
