Six mini jigsaw puzzles focusing on the materials objects are made of.
Use this teaching resource when studying Matter and Energy to introduce the concept of different materials.
Each four-piece puzzle has objects made of a similar material. The materials include: fabric, paper, wood, plastic, glass, and metal. Each puzzle is cut in a unique way.
Print, cut, and laminate the puzzle pieces. Give each student one piece and have them search for the remaining three pieces. Once they have found their group, they must decide what their objects have in common.
