Download Printable Measurement Activities You’ll Treasure!

Are you searching for new and engaging resources to help introduce your students to formal units of measurement? If so, we’ve got one that you’re sure to ‘treasure’ for years to come!

This engaging activity is designed to get your students up, moving, and measuring using customary and metric units through a scavenger hunt-style activity. With this resource, your students are tasked with searching the classroom, playground, or other learning space for objects that match the lengths shown.

This resource download includes a variety of differentiated worksheets, including–

  • Measuring in Centimeters
  • Measuring to the Nearest Inch
  • Measuring to the Nearest Half-Inch
  • Measuring in Inches, Feet, and Yards

Teacher Tip! We recommend locating and (discreetly) setting out objects for your students to measure before your lesson. When ready, hand out your worksheets and student measurement tools, and you’ll be ready to go!
