Using a Ruler + Art = Fun! With Measurement Drawing Challenges

Who says learning to use a ruler has to be boring? We sure don’t! That’s why we’ve put together a brand new set of measurement activities designed to engage your students in learning to use a centimeter ruler while giving them a healthy dose of art!

This activity pack is designed for upper-level students who need a good challenge and enjoy a quick art lesson here and there. In your download, you will find four Measurement Drawing Challenge worksheets in which students will use their ability to measure using a centimeter ruler to create a masterpiece featuring elements with specific lengths, widths, and heights. 

To complete, students will follow a series of written instructions that will give them the shapes and dimensions needed to create a drawing of a rocket, house, school bus, or robot! It’s the perfect way to bring art into the math curriculum!
