What Are Medial L Words? 

Medial L words” refer to words where the letter “L” appears in the middle or medial position of the word. Examples of medial L words include “collar,” “pillow,” “salty,” “holly,” “color,” etc.

In your years as a teacher, chances are you have had a student or students who struggle with pronouncing words with medial L, and those students most likely attend some sort of speech therapy to help them develop the ability to articulate Medial L.
