Make Meet Your Teacher Night a bit more fun with a Meet the Teacher Scavenger Hunt!
Looking for Fun Meet the Teacher Activities?
Meet Your Teacher Night doesn’t have to be all paperwork and formalities; you can turn it into a family event that sets a tone of collaboration and fun right from the start. We’ve got a wide variety of new and engaging activities that will help your new students and parents break the ice and create lasting connections. This year, let us help you turn your Parent Information Night event into an exciting classroom scavenger hunt!
Start With a Meet the Teacher Scavenger Hunt!
This printable scavenger hunt template is a fun way to get your students and their grown-ups involved and taking care of essential tasks on Parent Information Night. This scavenger hunt template sets a purpose for their visit and helps you collect and organize all the information and resources on that first visit.
Some examples of tasks/locations students and their parents will need to find are
- Find the classroom library. Choose one book that looks interesting and place it on your desk.
- Find the storage spots for tissues, paper towels, etc. Sort your supplies.
- Look at other student desks. Write the names of three people that you already know.
We’ve included two versions of this template. The tasks have been slightly modified for readability and student independence. The goal is for students and parents to complete all ten tasks on the scavenger hunt sheet, then turn it in for a fun back-to-school prize! It’s the perfect way to spice up your Parent Information Night.
