Our Metric Measurement Conversion Games are Easy to Play
Like our other metric measurement conversion games, “Construction Conversions” is easy to learn and play. Here are the easy-to-follow instructions:
- Print the resource and cut out the cards and any other pieces you may need.
- Give each group a game board, a set of game cards, and a spinner (to be used with a paperclip and pencil) or a 4-sided die.
- Have each player select a game piece and place it at the starting line. The person with the longest first name goes first.
- Player 1 spins the spinner and moves forward the appropriate number of spaces.
- If a player lands on a space that has a picture of a construction symbol, they draw a card and answer the question. The next player in line should check the answer key to see if the answer is correct.
- If the player is correct, they may stay in their space. If the player is incorrect, they must return to their previous space
- The first player to the finish line wins!
We recommend printing this resource on cardstock and then laminating it for longevity.
